It is said that a Job/Career in Data Science, Data Analytics or Business Intelligence will be the most sought-after job for next 2-3 decades.

For the purpose of this article and even in the world of careers, the terms like Data Analytics, Data Intelligence, Data Science & Business Intelligence are overlapping.They basically refer to continuous investigation and analysis of past business performance to gain insights and to drive business planning. They are thriving on your and my data. They know more about us and then we know and Yes this is a reality. Facebook through its data mining and intelligence knows everything about you: your likes, dislikes, family, location, travel plans, purchase history, your car, your mobile phone model, your age, your marital status, your spouse, your children, your facial pattern etc etc etc. Similarly it is with other companies.

90% of the world’s data has been created in the last 2 years and it is expected to grow 50 times by 2020 (source: Aureus Analytics). The ability to analyze this data is not increasing proportionally, leading to a huge shortage of qualified candidates in this space.
